COLE TIMONERE, JD, LMHC, NCC
Clinical Director
Cole Timonere has served people in the mental health field since 2010, where he began his career as an attorney. He shifted to counseling when he found that his passions lie in assisting folks in a different capacity than could be done utilizing the law. Cole obtained his Bachelor’s of Philosophy degree from USF and his Juris Doctor from the University of Miami. Cole later continued his education and completed his Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Northwestern University and is a current PhD student at Barry University studying counselor education and supervision with a specialization in marital, couple, and family counseling. Cole holds an additional specialization in the field of gender and affectional identity, which often correlates with addictions. Cole proposed and authored Gender Identity Counseling Standards and Competencies, which were recently adopted by the National Mental Health Counseling Association (AMCHA) and included in the 2021American Mental Health Counseling Association (AMHCA) Standards. Cole is devoted to creating an inclusive and affirming experience for all clients. He is of the belief that with action and renewed sense of passion and love for oneself, the ability to live a sober and peaceful life is imminent.
